A refined balance between tradition and contemporary design takes shape in this project in Serbia, where the parquet becomes an integral part of the architecture of the space.
The centerpiece is the 45° chevron pattern, reinterpreted through a precisely defined rug-like composition. The central design is framed by straight planks running along the perimeter and enhanced by a delicate brass inlay, adding a precious yet understated detail.
The result is a true “floor within a floor”: a composition that defines the space through geometry, proportions and material contrasts, creating an elegant, timeless visual rhythm.
For this project, our Thermo 160° Naturalizzato Oak was selected. Its balanced, natural tone enhances the complexity of the design while bringing depth and warmth to the overall composition.
A project where craftsmanship and the ability to create bespoke compositions come together, transforming parquet from a simple surface into an architectural and decorative element.
The project was completed in collaboration with our partner Adriatic Group.
